Hi.

I am a professor in the Faculty of Liberal Arts at Humber Polytechnic and the University of Guelph-Humber. I occasionally teach in the Department of Communication and Media Studies at York University.

My research interests include social media and political discourses, the ethics of AI, understanding gender in gendered spaces, and digital media practices at the intersection of gender and race. My doctoral research explores the impact of feminist media practices on sexual violence discourse.

More recently, I’m exploring the impact of AI on educational outcomes. I’m interested in looking for student-centred approaches to AI that lead to meaningful dialogue.
